The View From My Window is Looking Fine

Snow has finally truly come to southern Maine!! I am so happy! There is something so relaxing about watching snow fall. It's very similar to gentle lapping waves at the ocean. A sweet friend gave me the candles on the window sill. I like to light them while I make supper. It makes my kitchen feel so cozy! Today it is especially so.
I've been thinking a lot about 2011. I want to live intentionally, so I am trying to consider and pray over my intentions. At 45 years old I know that it's time to make double sure I am making every moment count. I am hoping to let this blog reflect that journey. My blog title is a hint to my overall goal. My greatest longing is to be at peace with God. When I am at peace with God I am at peace with others and at peace within myself. And it's good, real good...
Why blog? Well, it helps me to think and gives me a sense of accountability. Also, I hope it encourages others along their journey. Sometimes it helps to see another's life and know you're not alone!
So, if all goes according to plan I'll be *beefing up* my little spot on the web block. There'll be lots of changes coming, hopefully all good!
You know sometimes I want to change *the view from my window* and it's not always possible. I may be able to change the view, but I can sure change my outlook. :)
"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:18
