SHOUT OUT!!!

The day has come...

That day I tried to believe with all my heart would arrive.

Yesterday, on May 20th we made the last payment of our son's sophomore year of college...

His second year has been paid for in cash...

Plus we have adopted 4 children internationally this year...

And lived in a foreign country for 5 months as a family and my husband lived there for 6 1/2 months...

We paid rent for a home in Nicaragua while paying for our home in Maine...

Are we wealthy? No. We are not. We are a *one income* family.

So many people will tell you that you cannot live on one income in today's economy.

But you can, by GOD'S GRACE and PROVISION you can.

And if he calls you to adopt, you can.

And if he calls your son to Bible College, you can...so he can.

My heart is full of awe at what God has done!! It is not us.

God brought the right people with the right information, the right people wanting to help, the right support...

God put situations in front of us to help us.

Have I been afraid? YES!! A hundred times YES!!

Did I have days of doubt?  OH YES!!! The 3 a.m. prayers of desperation are my witness!!!

But God did it. We are home with our kids. The College bill is paid.

I am amazed and so very thankful!!

We decided we would go penniless if we had to. But God...

Are we wealthy now?? No. But we have all we need...and really more.

Praise the Lord!! Praise the Lord!!

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I."
Isaiah 58:6-9
