It's Funny if You Think About it...

My mom flies in from Florida tonight to visit us through Tyler's High School Graduation. Yep, today's the day and also the day that...

The tire blew on the van when we were on our way to do those "last minute errands" like...
Buying drapes for the sun room that we need and that will make it much easier to sleep in there with 2 slider doors and 2 other glass doors. Well, I would have bought them except that every light blue thick curtain said "you may order online". Seriously, wouldn't I be home if I wanted to order online?? Silly store... We brought Rachel with us so she could enjoy a pleasant afternoon of shopping which she would have if...
...If she didn't get such a bad stomach ache while we were out... Well, at least we missed the thunderstorms that my boys tell me shook the house...
You can see the storm clouds building in the distance as my husband finished changing the tire. Well, the important thing is my mom is coming...she'll be in late though as her flight is delayed...

It's funny if you think about it. I'm sure we'll all have a good laugh about it tomorrow...Monday at the latest! ;)

  1. Karen, Just think, "IF" it had been Later, There would have been NO shadow cast by the sun as your Hubby changed the tire... Think of the People who may have PLANNED an "outing" to buy Blue Curtains, that will NOW order on-line... And, I don't see a picture of Robin "HOSING-OUT-the-VAN" ,so I assume Rachel's stomach ache 'improved' {in stead of worsening}... Your Mom will be thrilled to arrive , even with delays {as you will be Blessed to have her}.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Happy Mother's Day My Dear, and KNOW that even IF it takes you until Monday... You have given Some of us a Chuckle Today !!

    God's TIMING is ALWAYS Perfect
    BLESSINGS

  2. Dear Karen,
Oh, my, don't we all just dread these kinds of days! Just everything seems to go wrong...no matter how hard we try to make everything perfect! Praise God that you didn't have an accident when the tire blew...and that Rachel recovered from her tummy ache. As for those thunderstorms...we didn't see any of that at all up this way...beautiful sunny afternoon with a little sea breeze. But we did hear that there was supposed to be a line of storms from Brunswick down to your way. I hope that your time with your mom is absolutely wonderful...and that you both have a truly special Mother's Day!
    God bless,
    Laura
