Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese

The picture definitely could have been better, but this week we tried making macaroni and cheese in the crock pot and it came out really yummy! :)

We found the recipe at You can click right here to see it on the site. I made some changes just because we needed to use what we had on hand. I'll put our changes in parenthesis.


1 (8 oz.) elbow macaroni (we used mini penne)
1 stick butter
3 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese (we had a shredded cheddar/monterey jack combo)
1 1/2 c. milk (we used part skim milk and part light cream because we had no whole milk)
2 eggs, beaten
1 lg. evaporated milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook and drain macaroni. In crock pot, put macaroni, butter, 2 cups cheese and stir. Add milk, eggs, evaporated milk and top with 1 cup cheese. Cook on low for 3 hours.

Try it!! It's yummy!! :)
