We've been kind of *stuck* concerning the paperwork side of our adoption. It has been so frustrating as it has held up my ability to schedule the rest of us going to Nicaragua. I am learning to trust God on a whole new level! It's a good thing, but many times I have to remind myself that it's good!! ;)
TODAY we saw some movement!!
~It has been decided that my husband is going to get his fingerprints done in FL. Now we make the arrangements. It'll happen soon. (I probably shouldn't say the exact day online).
~Today, the fingerprinting appt form was successfully faxed after many failed attempts over 5 days (weird right?). I don't know where the other 4 or 5 faxes ended up!
~Today, my husband's new debit card arrived after his other one was compromised. That was kind of a big deal since he is in a foreign country and he kind of needs to have access to money!
~Today, the bedding for my 3 little girls arrived from JC Penny! It's beautiful! (The boys have soccer bedding, FC Barcelona, to be exact).
~Today, we planned my and my 2 *at home teen's* departure date. Not much longer! (Can't say it here but you can message me and ask if we know each other). I can't wait!! Besides the excitement of meeting my younger 4 children, my husband and I are WAAAY better together than apart!!
~The last of the paperwork I am responsible for is officially ON IT'S way BACK TO ME from being authenticated in NYC. I love being able to track a package!!! It will get to me tomorrow!!!
Oh, praise the Lord!!! We're seeing the movement we need to see!!!
I tell ya, just when you think you've really got the whole "trusting God" thing down, He gives you a new challenge and it's a new lesson!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ~Philippians 4:6-7
I had a little visitor too:
I took this picture through the window! She loves that my lawn needs to be mowed!!!
Karen, thank you for sharing your journey with us! What an exciting time for your family!
